If you’re looking to support a good cause with a tax-deductible donation this calendar year, consider supporting the Progressive Change Institute, the PCCC’s sister organization.
You can chip in generally or to support one of these programs:
- Lobby the Biden Administration to do bold executive actions like canceling student debt -- such as declaring a national climate emergency (which unleashes new powers). Or ensuring workers get paid overtime if they work over 40 hours a week. Donate to this executive branch lobbying here.
- Pushing better (progressive) messaging in the media. Our polling has changed the debate, getting picked up by politicians and the media. For example, we urged political leaders to say “The Supreme Court increasingly faces a legitimacy crisis.” Donate to our progressive messaging work here.
- Fight disinformation. Right now, Ben Shapiro and right-wing voices are flooding the Internet. We’re developing a plan to fight back, which builds on our existing organizational strengths. Click here to help us fight disinformation in 2023.
Among other things, in 2023 the Progressive Change Institute will:
- Foster innovation in fighting disinformation
- Train hundreds of progressive candidates to run winning campaigns
- Inform the wider progressive community with winning framing for critical issues.

Here’s just one example of how the Progressive Change Institute works:
After the fall of Roe, we led the campaign calling out the Supreme Court’s legitimacy crisis.
Here’s the secret sauce. Shortly after the Supreme Court opinion leaked, the Progressive Change Institute collaborated with Demand Justice on polling to gauge the popularity of the idea that the Supreme Court is facing a legitimacy crisis -- and the most impactful way of framing that.
Business Insider reports:
"The message is being encouraged by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and other left-leaning groups who say it polls well nationally and in battleground states. A survey in June by Hart Research for the progressive group Demand Justice in collaboration with PCCC found the increasing 'legitimacy crisis' message describes the feelings of 51% of voters in all states and 49% of battleground state voters 'very well.'
"'We believe that any critiques of individual Court decisions should also call out this politicized Court itself, and we wanted to ask you to amplify this message in the days ahead,' PCCC Co-Founder Adam Green wrote in a June 29 message to lawmakers, shared with Insider.
"The email was signed by PCCC, March For Our Lives, Evergreen, Ultraviolet, Demand Justice, and the American Constitution Society."

We can’t think of a better way to round out 2022 than propelling this kind of work forward in 2023.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
