John, as Delia's team, it's our job to keep you as informed as possible. That in mind, we've got bad news:
We're not on track to meet our End of Year Fundraising Goal.
We know you're probably prepping for the new year, but so are we! If you can't stay, just know Delia is going to be working hard to better our communities next year. Will you donate today to support her vision? [[link removed]]
SUPPORT DELIA'S VISION [[link removed]]
John, Delia is committed to breathing new life into Illinois. She's working on immigration reform, expanding access to top-notch healthcare, and being a champion for affordable housing – and it was clear that this resonated with our friends and neighbors.
That's why we were so crushed to see that our numbers are down significantly.
But as bad as our bad news is, we're all about keeping things positive. So, here's the good news:
There's still time to turn things around.
John, Delia's never accepted a dime from corporations, and that's not going to change now! We want you to know that Delia's accountable to you, not big businesses or special interest groups.
But just like Delia is looking out for you, we need a strong show that the public is looking out for Delia. According to our reports, we're $5,721 short from making it. Please, John, will you donate before the deadline, and help us reach our goal? [[link removed]]
