Nuclear abolition on the agenda
- sign our letter to the new PM

Boris Johnson has written the so-called 'letters of last resort' to the commanders of our nuclear weapons submarines. As we approach the 74th anniversary of the catastrophic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the risk of accidental or intentional use of nuclear weapons remains very significant.

We've written a letter to the new Prime Minister to express our concerns about Britain’s continued possession of nuclear weapons and the lack of action on global abolition. Please add your name.

With Donald Trump's stalling of the Iran nuclear deal, and the threat of a new war in the Middle East, it's crucial for British citizens to apply pressure on the new government. It must take action to maintain the arms control treaties that help keep us safe and stop the slide to war.

We must not just accept as inevitable the collapse of the international rules-based system - it's time for the British PM to set a new agenda.
