LIHEAP

Do you need assistance paying for your heating bills this winter season? LIHEAP, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 season and can help low-income families with heating in the form of a cash grant and does not need to be repaid.

If your household is experiencing a heating crisis, you may be eligible for additional benefits through the LIHEAP Crisis Program. For more information about LIHEAP and its Crisis Program, visit dhs.pa.gov/LIHEAP.

To apply for assistance online, visit compass.state.pa.us. 

Property Tax/ Rent Rebate Deadline

The deadline to apply for Pennsylvania's Property Tax/ Rent Rebate program is December 31, 2022. This program is available for residents who are permanently disabled, 50+ and widowed or 65+.

For those interested you can visit revenue.pa.gov/PropertyTaxRentRebateProgram or call 1-888-222-9190. You can apply for the program online through PA's myPATH.
