Take a look at some of the exciting plans we have for 2023:

Dear reader,
2022 was a pivotal year for the Prospect, and our small but mighty team certainly made a mark on the media ecosystem. We were featured in Politico and the Columbia Journalism Review, described as “the lefty magazine flexing some Biden-era muscle” and “the magazine of the moment.” The accolades are a great testament to what we’ve been building.

We’re thankful to our readers for making everything we do possible. That’s why we wanted to give you an inside look on some of the exciting plans we have for 2023.

In the new year, we’re looking forward to continuing our reporting on how the Biden administration can implement their agenda even with a divided Congress, and how the levers of power can be utilized to realize the promise of landmark legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act, the bipartisan infrastructure law, the CHIPS and Science Act and more.

The Prospect is committed to featuring voices often left out of the media establishment, and our fellowship program for entry-level journalists is the gold standard. Next year, we’ll be launching a brand new newsletter by our younger writers to bring fresh perspectives to our email audience.

We’re also continuing our focus on uplifting the stories of the social movements that push this country forward, because change happens from the bottom up. We’ll remain active in covering the changing face of American labor and the surge of energy and organizing happening around the country, as well as exploring how organizers can use public policy to build working class institutions.

We are optimistic that 2023 will be a good year, and we can’t wait to share all the exciting plans we have with you. But we don’t have corporate backers, and without your support we would not be able to report on the stories that matter to our democracy. For just a few dollars a month, you can become a member and play an instrumental role in keeping our newsroom running.

Thanks for being a part of this,

David Dayen
