Looking back on this past year, I am so proud of what we accomplished together: - Our Rise + Vote program registered/mobilized over 40,000 voters for the 2022 midterm elections.
- We organized ongoing efforts to ensure justice for the 11 million undocumented members of our congregations including grassroots lobbying in Congress, protests at the vice president’s residence to include a pathway to citizenship in the Senate reconciliation package, and an immigrants’ march on Washington.
- Our 2022 Faith Forum brought together hundreds of clergy, organizers, and people of faith for training, fellowship, and direct action in Washington, DC.
- A national campaign brought awareness to the harm racist sheriffs have on our local communities, including a day of protest at the National Sheriffs’ Association conference in Kansas City, Missouri.
- We provided rapid mobilization of support and resources to communities in Buffalo and Uvalde following white supremacist violence.
Through it all, we centered the leadership and experiences of Black and Brown women and trusted them to know what is best for them and their communities.
