Add your name to support young people under threat, like Yasaman!

Hi there, John,

It’s often said that young people are our future leaders. We say they’re here now, and they’re already fighting some of the biggest human rights crises we face.

Yasaman Aryani, in Iran, is one of them.

With her hair uncovered, Yasaman handed out flowers to women passengers on a train in Iran. It was International Women’s Day, and Yasaman — a young actor who loves mountain climbing — peacefully protested Iran’s forced veiling laws in an inspiring act of defiance.

A video of her brave act went viral, prompting Iran’s authorities to arrest her. Now, Yasaman has been sentenced to and is serving a shocking 16-year prison term — all because she believes women should have the freedom to choose what they wear.

Yasaman is one of the 10 cases of young people who are featured in Write for Rights, the world’s largest grassroots human rights letter-writing campaign — which this year, champions the rights and youth activists.

John, you can sign your name to show your immediate support for these 10 inspiring cases of young people — including Yasaman Aryan — who have been attacked, harassed, and jailed.

We’re bringing this letter-writing campaign online — so you can easily take one online action to help 10 brave young people! Our goal is to get 10,000 people — passionate supporters like you — to take action before the end of this month. Will you be one of them?

It’s simple: The more actions we generate, the more likely we are to positively impact the lives of these young people who need our help. Please add your name today, John!

Thank you for everything you do!
