We say HELL NO to accepting the loss of our most basic, fundamental rights. To accepting more of the same from society.
And once again, we’ll make EVERYONE hear us.
For nearly fifty years, American women knew that our constitutional right to bodily autonomy was protected. Roe v. Wade was transformative — revolutionary — for women’s ability to define our own lives.
Now, Roe is gone. And we need everyone to know that Roe was NEVER enough.
Even while Roe was in effect, systemic barriers to abortion access denied too many Americans full bodily autonomy and reproductive health care.
Not to mention – women still face sexism in the job market, in our personal lives, on the streets. Women bear the brunt of child-rearing and running a household. Women are disproportionately represented in essential, underpaid professions like education.
At our #BiggerThanRoe national marches, we’ll step up and speak out for our rights and freedoms.
John, hosting a mass mobilization isn’t easy and doesn’t come cheap. We had to increase our end-of-year fundraising goal to $200,000 to cover expenses, and we’re running out of time to hit it.
