Friend,
The path to taking back the Senate runs straight through Virginia. That’s the honest truth.
If my friend Mark Warner loses his re-election campaign next year, we may not be able to retake the Senate — and we’ll lose our best chance to pass commonsense legislation that’ll protect our health care, reduce gun violence, defend our elections, and create good jobs.
I’m asking you to donate right now to Mark’s re-election campaign so we can take back the Senate and deliver tangible results for Virginia families.

When I was up for re-election, Mark stepped up to help me out. Now I’m ready to do the same for him. Before the end of the month, I want to reach 1,000 new donors to help his campaign invest in the tools and staff they need to win next year. If we can reach that goal, we’ll be well on our way to defending Mark’s seat and retaking the Senate. Will you help?
If January 2021 arrives and Senate Democrats are in the majority, we’ll have a chance to:
-
Stop GOP attempts to sabotage health care and protect Virginians with pre-existing conditions
-
Take meaningful action to reduce sea level rise and address other climate emergencies
-
Pass commonsense reforms to reduce and prevent gun violence
-
Secure our elections from foreign interference (including by passing Mark’s Foreign Influence Reporting in Elections Act)
-
Appoint qualified judges who will protect our constitutional rights
All of this is possible, but only if we flip the Senate.
These days, the Senate is mired in gridlock, and dozens of bills that could have real, tangible results for Virginians are often either voted down by Senate Republicans or are never even put on the Senate floor for a vote!
This must change.
Can you chip in — whatever you can — to Mark’s campaign and help retake the Senate? It’s time to pass more legislation that’ll help folks across the Commonwealth.
