As the year comes to a close, we want to end on a note of gratitude for your support in our successful efforts this year. We care about what matters to you and appreciate the trust you place in us to move our shared values and priorities forward.

Our goal at the North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV), is to turn what matters to you into priorities for our North Carolina leaders. This year, we have accomplished so much.

We fought for our democracy and our environment. From wins in the NC Supreme Court to making our case at the Supreme Court of the United States, we stood up for your right to vote and have your vote count.

We continued to successfully make the case that good jobs and a healthy climate are connected, achieving incredible advances on clean energy in North Carolina.

And most importantly, we made real progress on clean air, clean water, and environmental justice. We achieved this by supporting Gov. Cooper’s executive orders and legislation enacted and signed. Federally, we helped pass the largest climate bill in history, the Inflation Reduction Act, while preventing Sen. Joe Manchin’s dirty deal from passing multiple times.
