This is shocking news, friend.

Our food supply is awash in pesticides, according to test results from the FDA, which found pesticide residues on half the food it tested. The agency found 185 pesticides on produce alone – brain-damaging chlorpyrifos, bee-killing neonics and cancer-linked glyphosate. The levels of glyphosate on chickpeas, lentils and other grains were extremely high – and in some cases illegal.

You shouldn’t have to worry about toxic pesticides at the grocery store. That’s why EWG is fighting to get pesticides like glyphosate and neonics out of our food. But we need your help.

We’re running out of time to reach our year-end fundraising goal, and we’re falling dangerously behind. We need our work to be fully funded in order to continue the research you rely on and fight for stronger protections. Can we count on you to chip in today?

Click here to rush a donation of $15 or more to support our work to get glyphosate and neonics out of our food!

According to the EPA, cancer-linked glyphosate is likely to harm more than 1,000 of the nation’s most endangered plants and animals. Thanks in large part to the widespread use of neonics, the American bumblebee population has declined 89% over the past 20 years.

These toxic pesticides should NOT be in our environment, let alone our food.

EWG will never stop fighting for your health – and we get results. Just look at what we’re preparing for next year:

* Fighting continued attacks on our pesticide work, such as major Big Ag front groups trying to shut down our popular Dirty Dozen™ list.
* Shedding light on the influence pesticide companies have on the EPA and the risk assessment process.
* Preventing the EPA from declaring pesticides like neonics and glyphosate to be safe when there’s scientific evidence that they aren’t.

But none of this work is possible without your support. We need to raise $135,975 before midnight on 12/31 in order to fully fund our pesticide work in 2023. If you rely on our work, please donate today. Any amount makes a difference.
