work to ensure that those closest to the pain are closest to the power, to
deliver real, lasting change for all of our communities, and to build a
diverse grassroots movement.

I am so proud of what we have achieved together over the past year. We’ve
organized to resist draconian attacks on women’s reproductive rights.
We’ve legislated for workers’ rights, to support survivors, and
fundamentally reimagine our criminal legal system. We’ve advocated to make
safe, affordable housing a human right, and mobilized to hold this
Administration accountable for their cruel and inhumane policies. And so
much else.

that our movement will continue to grow and make progress in the pursuit
of equity and justice.

At this defining moment, I know I am where I am meant to be — in Congress,
working on the issues of consequence facing communities across
the country.
