"My name is Ronald and I’ve been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. But I wouldn’t even have discovered I had cancer if I hadn’t been hit by a truck.
I worked for 23 years as a commercial truck driver. I got into this accident, and after they finished all their scans, the doctor said, 'Don't you know you have cancer?' I was in shock.
At the same time, I had Type 2 diabetes, kidney failure, and then a heart attack after my accident. I had difficulties walking. I couldn't even do things like take a shower. It was a tough time.

You have high days and low days, and the day I called Livestrong was a low day. I didn't know who I could turn to. Livestrong helped me understand that they would be there for me and help me with everything they could. I have had so many medical bills build up from this diagnosis and I haven't been able to work. Livestrong helped when I didn't know where to turn.
