Dear Friend,
This year, we’ve seen both wonderful victories and significant defeats for conservatism in America.
As we witness the powerful attacks on human nature which characterize our anti-human era—from abortion to transgenderism, from the redefinition of marriage to critical race theory, from draconian Covid policies to religious liberty violations—I’ve had frequently in mind Martin Luther King Jr.’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail, in which he wrote eloquently of another turning point in the fight to uphold the dignity of the person: “Now is the time to lift our national policy from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of human dignity.”
In the wake of a disappointing midterm election, EPPC’s efforts to build a 2024 consensus for conservatives—united by a commitment to human dignity—are more important than ever.
The next several years will be crucial for conservatism in America. To meet this challenge, EPPC is renewing our Evangelicals in Civic Life Program, growing our new programs on Technology and Human Flourishing and Life and Family, and increasing our engagement on HHS and religious liberty issues for the remainder of Biden’s presidency.
I know you share our commitment to the dignity of the human person, and the American founding principles which safeguard it, and I would like for you to consider partnering with us with a tax-deductible gift of $100, $250, $500, or whatever amount you can afford.
Thank you for being a part of the urgent effort to enshrine human dignity in American policy and culture.
