John, Chicagoans know: The best way to get things done is to roll up your sleeves and dive right in.

For 30 years, previous mayors have failed to open a casino in Chicago. But thanks to hard work and persistence, we’ve succeeded!

Last Wednesday, City Council voted 39-5 to approve the final zoning plans for the Bally’s casino-resort-entertainment complex.

The casino is expected to accrue around $200 million in revenue to support police and fire pensions.

That means fewer property tax hikes for Chicago residents, more jobs for Chicago workers, and more support for our emergency responders.

This is a success story, John.

I have shown for four years that I know how to deliver results in our city. My opponents don’t have any of that experience.

Chicago is facing tough problems, and we need tough, experienced fighters to create solutions.

But I can’t win this reelection alone. Will you make a contribution to my campaign right now? I need your support so we can keep working for Chicago.
