and these magnificent creatures are on the BRINK OF EXTINCTION. Cappuccino and Marina -- two whales beloved in the Pacific Northwest -- are now
presumed dead after wasting away from starvation.

Now, only 73 orcas are left in the Southern Resident pods -- and 13 of them are in dire straits as they were recently deemed “vulnerable” due to their astonishingly poor physical condition. But a new shipping terminal
and oil pipeline expansion threaten the remaining whales, their entire
ecosystem, and the communities who live nearby. Just one oil spill could
completely wipe out the last remaining orcas.
