Dear John,

Gathering with friends and family this holiday season, I can't help but reflect on what this year has meant to me, and to all of us at Breathe Southern California. The support you've given us has allowed us to accomplish so much, and I'd like to celebrate some of these accomplishments with you.
We worked to successfully pass and enact a statewide flavored tobacco ban, helping protect countless generations from the dangers of tobacco use.

Our BlueSky LA program engaged more than 200 volunteers at sites across Southern California to help with projects that will reduce air pollution. We’ve planted hundreds of native plants and trees, revitalized community gardens, and helped a local high school protect its ground from runoff water.
We educated hundreds of students and families to manage childhood asthma, eliminate toxins from their home cleaning routines, and recognize the dangers and warning signs of vaping.

And through our End Diesel Now campaign, we brought policymakers on a tour of the communities affected by heavy diesel truck usage and truck idling, and had residents explain the health effects they and their families are confront daily due to heavy diesel exhaust fumes in their neighborhoods.
Your support and generosity have made all this possible. We are forever thankful that we can continue making an impact on the entire Southern California region, and that while we still have important work ahead, because of you, this year we can all Breathe Easier.

Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy holiday season and prosperous new year.

With Heartfelt Thanks,
