Lori has been elected by her colleagues in the New England congressional delegation to serve as the region’s representative on the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee!
As one of 25 voices on this committee, Lori will help consider candidates for committee leadership and committee assignments, and make vote recommendations to the full Democratic caucus.
We can’t understate how huge this is, team. Serving on this committee is viewed as an extension of House Democratic leadership. By electing Lori to this role, her peers have made it clear that they have full trust and confidence in her ability to lead – especially at this critical moment when Republicans are set to have an extremely narrow majority.
We are SO proud of how far Lori has come since she was first elected in 2018. This election is a true testament to her years of hard work and dedication to serving her constituents.
