December 14th marked the 10th anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that stole the lives of 20 first graders and six school staff members. The Alliance was born out of that tragedy and in the decade since, we have made meaningful progress in the fight against gun violence. We spent this month reflecting on how far we’ve come and how far we have left to go.

2023 Legislative Agenda
Our 2023 agenda is our boldest yet! We are urging lawmakers to prohibit assault weapons, create a permit-to-purchase system, establish a pathway to justice for victims of gun violence, and more.
As the year comes to a close, we are taking a minute to reflect on all we were able to accomplish this year. We've compiled a list of 22 things from 2022 that we're especially proud of.
We're gearing up to bring an ambitious agenda to Olympia next month. We need your help showing legislators that we expect them prioritize gun responsibility in 2023.
