Hi John,
Help us start 2023 strong - when you make a gift to protect the Boundary Waters before the New Year, your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar. All donations made between today and December 31 will be automatically doubled.

The spectacular Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness must be protected from toxic sulfide-ore copper mining. Together, we are accomplishing this mission and we are in this for the long haul.

The U.S. Congress has passed their year-end government funding bills and adjourned for the year, without voting on Rep. McCollum's Boundary Waters protection bill. Unfortunately, Congressional leaders could not agree to include any public lands conservation bills in the year-end package.

We will doggedly pursue this national bill into next year as we continue our work on multiple strategic fronts to protect the Boundary Waters forever. This next year presents opportunities for our state bill to protect the Wilderness as well. With your support and this powerful coalition of allies across the country, we are well positioned to win for the Boundary Waters.
Your support and your actions for the Boundary Waters have been absolutely critical in reaching this point.
We've met with hundreds of lawmakers on both the local and national level to educate them and get them on board to protect the Boundary Waters
We've demonstrated massive and undeniable support for protecting the Boundary Waters, and are hopeful for a decision by U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland next year on the proposed 20-year ban on copper mining on federal public land near the Boundary Waters
We're working to ban copper mining in the headwaters of the Boundary Waters through our first-of-it’s kind environmental lawsuit and our work at the Minnesota legislature
And much more!
