You probably heard about last week’s poll of likely Iowa caucusgoers -- the one that showed that the race here is too close to call. Well, that poll also told us something else: that only 40% of likely Iowa caucusgoers have made up their mind about which candidate to support.

You read that right. More than half of the people who will be deciding the outcome of the Iowa Caucuses say they have not yet made up their minds about which candidate to support.

This is a huge opportunity for our campaign -- especially for our organizing team on the ground in Iowa. So this weekend, we hosted a statewide Weekend of Action.

This weekend alone, our volunteers launched canvasses from over 80 locations across the state and knocked on tens of thousands of doors each day. That’s a lot of conversations with a lot of Iowans. Again and again, our volunteers returned to our offices and told our organizers that they talked to undecided caucusgoers about this campaign -- and that on the ground in Iowa, people seem more and more excited about Pete.

Our organizing program is critical because this is a big part of how we build a coalition of support: on the ground, at people’s doorsteps, one conversation at a time. With so little time left until the Iowa Caucuses, and so many caucusgoers still undecided, the future of our campaign depends on our ability to run programs like this where it matters most.
