Join us for statewide guided hikes Jan. 1

The outdoors is calling! Join us for First Day Hikes at over a dozen state parks across Nebraska on *Jan. 1, 2023*, and kick off the new year in a special way.

These annual guided hikes give you the chance to explore state park trails, snap photos, watch wildlife and participate in any special activities the park is hosting, like a snowball toss, potluck or photo scavenger hunt. Or, choose any state park and create your own hiking adventure.

Join us and mark the first day of the new year with some time outdoors! Invite a friend and start a new tradition. Remember that you'll need a 2023 Nebraska park entry permit to visit these parks, so make sure to buy one online ahead of time [ [link removed] ] for an easier visit.
