2022 was a year of change. With your support, we joined a national coalition of organizations to get the first federal gun violence prevention legislation passed in decades. Although the Safer Communities law does not accomplish everything we hoped for, we are proud of how far this movement has come. We couldn’t have done it without your help. Through your generosity, we continued our public awareness and education campaigns, with op-eds, speaking engagements and online campaigns. We also helped rally the next generation of voters by supporting the student-led March for Our Lives rally in Boston. We also bid farewell to our Executive Director, Zoe Grover. After nine years, her time at SHV comes to a close this year end. She has proven to be one of the strongest advocates for our cause! We thank her for her years of dedication and wish her the very best in her next endeavors. | |
