Heritage Action recently defeated a radical piece of legislation called the “EAGLE Act” that Nancy Pelosi tried to sneak through right before Christmas. 

This legislation would have empowered China, hurt American workers, and worsened our current immigration crisis by increasing chain migration.

So how did Heritage Action stop this BAD BILL from becoming law? Inside and outside pressure.

Fellow Conservative, Heritage Action raised the alarm and the grassroots pressure from our nationwide network of Sentinel activists convinced representatives who initially supported the bill to change their position. In the end, Pelosi pulled the scheduled vote for the EAGLE Act—she knew she didn’t have enough votes to pass it!

This is the perfect example of our important work at Heritage Action to recruit, train, and equip the Conservative Grassroots in America.
