If the 2018 blue wave proved anything, it's that our progressive values can compete anywhere -- even in some of the most deeply conservative parts of our country.

Thirty members of our majority now sit in seats that Trump carried in 2016. They take bold votes to hold him accountable, protect our communities from gun violence, and raise the minimum wage -- knowing every vote is going to be heavily scrutinized in districts like theirs.

If we can't defend these seats, we can't hold our majority.

If Trump and his allies succeed in regaining GOP control of the House, all of the incredible progress we've made in the past year will be undone.

Medicare, Social Security, and the right to access abortion care could disappear. Even more needless tax cuts for the 1% and sweeping Trump's corruption under the rug could replace passing a living wage and holding power to account.

We know Trump will do anything -- legal or otherwise -- to ensure he holds onto power. If he's successful, he could flip the House on his coattails.
