| There’s nothing like a break to really test your parenting. The whining, the cries of boredom, the sibling battles, and the endless mess of toys and plates and clothes. Who can remain patient in the face of this? No one. And that’s ok. Parenting isn’t about perfection — it’s about falling down, getting back up, and doing it all again. This means to try to find patience right after you lose it; jumping on those moments to connect and knowing when separation is best; knowing when to stop misbehaving to drive home a point and when to let a kid make their own mistakes. So take a deep breath, dust yourself off, and know when you think you can’t take it anymore that you’re not alone. |
