Dear John,
Last year, the American Immigration Council announced the Steven Clark Immigration Workforce Fund, which supports our efforts to promote fair and rational immigration workforce policies.
We’ve been proud to broaden those efforts this year by educating business leaders and policymakers on the contributions immigrants make to the U.S. workforce, as well as breaking down barriers to economic success for immigrants across the country.
Donate today and double your impact. Thanks to Vince Lau—managing partner of Clark Lau LLC and mentee of Steve—all contributions to the Immigration Workforce Fund, up to $50,000, will be matched dollar for dollar.

Here are some of the strides we’ve made in the workforce in 2022:
Advocated for Immigration Reform Alongside Business Leaders and Major Brands [[link removed]]
We engaged hundreds of companies, trade associations, and business leaders in advocacy for immigration reform in states like Colorado, Ohio, and Texas, where our coalition now boasts major brands like Pepsi, Uber, and the San Antonio Spurs.
Provided Research and Support to Chambers of Commerce [[link removed]]
We offered research, technical assistance, and strategic advice to chambers of commerce on immigration issues, immigrant integration, and economic development. In 2022, we grew our network to over 60 pro-immigrant chambers representing 31 states.
Launched A Series of Interactive Guides on the White House STEM Initiatives [[link removed]]
After President Biden announced policy changes to attract more foreign STEM workers, we created guides and FAQs to educate employers, workers, and institutions on how they can take advantage of the new initiatives. The guide was reviewed and promoted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
Created a Labor Market Series on Immigrants’ Contributions to the U.S. Workforce [[link removed]]
We explored a variety of issues at the intersection of the U.S. economy and immigration through our Labor Market Series. From agriculture to healthcare and from Maine to California, we examined how labor demands are evolving and how immigration plays into our ability to meet these demands.
Join us as we continue to promote fair and rational immigration workforce policies. Donate today and double your investment [[link removed]] in this critical work.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Robbins
Executive Director
