As we reflect on the year, and a good election cycle for pro-democracy advocates, The Colorado Turnout Project is beginning work on an ambitious plan for 2024.

Before bidding farewell to 2022, however, we want to start our work in the New Year on the strongest possible footing. Approaching two years after the January 6 Capitol riot in 2021, we want to keep this horrific event in mind for voters—the legacy of the January 6 insurrection, and the Big Lie, is not written; Trump is back, and hateful liars like Kari Lake (who lost the contest for Arizona Governor and won't admit it) and Steve Bannon aren't going anywhere.
