Thank you

Hi John,

I’ve asked for your donations, and you’ve delivered. MORE than delivered!

On the last day of the fourth quarter, we raised over $4,000, and I want to say thank you.

I also want to let you know how I’m spending your money, so you can see all the good it’s doing. In the last month, we’ve invested in:

  • More canvassing materials

  • Stickers and buttons

  • A canvassing tool, which we’ve already used to canvass!

  • More team members, including our Operations Director and — we’re about to hire — a Field Director

  • Business cards, which I got to use for the first time on Wednesday when I met with an amazing social worker in Port Angeles who works with the homeless

  • Our advisors Peter and Leela Daou, who bring extensive political experience, including Peter’s work on two presidential campaigns

  • A gigantic wall calendar for Campaign HQ, which we’ve used to map out our canvassing and fundraising targets for the next 7 months (205 days till the primary!)

  • A flipboard for canvassing trainings

It’s all been possible because of you. Thank you!

Can you help us build more momentum?

I also wanted to share some recent wins with you:

  • We raised more cash in the last quarter than we did in the third quarter, proving we have momentum and that WA-06 is ready for a progressive alternative to the corporate status quo

  • Got our fundraising press release published in a local outlet

  • Got interviewed on the Michael Brooks Show

  • Spoke at a healthcare die-in outside a conference of healthcare executives

  • Got to meet many of my supporters in person for the first time at the Bernie King County kickoff in Seattle!

I can’t thank you enough for believing in this campaign and in a future that includes Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and guaranteed housing for all.

The establishment has been doing everything it can to block this campaign, from blacklisting people from working with us to denying us access to their canvassing tool. But together, we’re showing them it’s not going to work.

If you can, please help us keep it going with a recurring donation.

Recurring donations let us budget out ahead for each month, which is crucial for payroll.

$1, $7 — whatever you can afford helps. Thank you. Let’s keep making progress:

P.S. I knew the establishment would block us, especially once they saw what a threat we are to my opponent Derek Kilmer.

What really bothers me about it is that they won’t let me help you.

I’m running for Congress because I want a society where we say to every single person in this country: you belong here, we care about you, and we’re going to take care of you. Policy is how we show that love.

If you agree, please chip in whatever you can, so we can build an America where everyone thrives.

When we come together, nobody — not the DCCC, not the state party, not Corporate Kilmer — can stop us.
