with an update on how it's going.

In short, we're behind. And that’s bad news.

The good news is that historically, we see more donations in the week
between Christmas and New Year's than at any other time of the year. But
there's no more wiggle room left. If we fall short, we simply will not
be able to continue providing the progressive journalism for which you
count on us.
