Team, When the 118th Congress kicks off in January, a new batch of extremists will be in DC: Rep-elect Max Miller of Ohio, a former Trump aide who accepted thousands in campaign contributions from organizers of the “Stop the Seal” rally leading up to Jan. 6th. Rep-elect Harriet Hageman of Wyoming, who defeated Rep. Liz Cheney and ran a campaign centered around Trump’s Big Lie. Rep-elect Derrick Van Orden of Wisconsin, an insurrectionist. He was on Capitol grounds during the Jan. 6th attack. These extremists will be joining the ranks of right-wing fanatics like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Matt Gaetz in the majority party, which means they will wield more power than ever before. We need to be ready to fight back when they push wild conspiracy theories, refuse to help working families, or attack our democracy.
