I support J Street for a pretty simple reason: Every Israeli child and every Palestinian child deserves the safety to grow up in freedom, equality and peace.
No terror attacks. No home demolitions. No rockets. No occupation.
That’s the future J Street’s advocating for, by pressing American leaders to pursue policies that will advance peace, justice and democracy for both peoples.

For me, this work is deeply personal.
My late husband was a Holocaust survivor. He survived the Dachau concentration camp and, as an orphan, found refuge among the Jewish community in what was then Mandatory Palestine.
He was there when the Declaration of Independence was signed. A state founded on the values of equality, freedom, justice and peace.
That’s the Israel I believe in: A safe, democratic homeland for our people and a true home for our values.
That’s why it’s so painful to watch as Netanyahu (and his even more extreme coalition partners) trample upon Israel’s founding values and institutions, just as they trample upon Palestinian rights and freedoms. It’s why it’s so maddening when their right-wing supporters in the United States sling the charge of “anti-Israel” at people like you and me.
But it’s also why I’m committed to J Street’s critical work. And it’s why I’m asking you to join me with a contribution of $18, $54, $90 or any other amount. Every contribution will strengthen our movement in the year ahead >>
