The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is planning to undo protections
that the critically endangered Southern Beaufort Sea polar bears need
to survive. They want to offer up that protected land for oil and gas
development - and their own statements admit that polar bears will die
as a result. Oil profits aren't worth driving these bears to
