In the first six months of the year, women tend to outnumber men among new voter registrations in Virginia. VPAP's latest data visualization shows there have been two recent exceptions — 2017 and this year. ([link removed]) The male-female ratio shifts depending on age range. It may take a political scientist (or two) to determine what this means.
