Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope your Christmas is off to as great of a start as mine is.

Today is a busy day in the McGarvey household. First, it officially marks the end of the Twelve Days of “Chris-mas” – a yearly tradition where the kids and I celebrate my wife Chris.

Yes, that is her face on our matching shirts! We go all-out to thank her for everything she does for our family all year round.

And this morning the kids were sure to abide by their usual routine – waking us up at the crack of dawn for presents and fun.

Like so many across Louisville, I’m dedicating today to spending time with my family. The memories we make on Christmas are unmatched in my book. It’s my hope that you’ll have plenty of time to spend around loved ones and those closest to you today, too.

Now, I have to run because I promised my 4-year-old I’d teach her how to ride the bike that Santa brought her!
