Democrats,
We know that the holidays can be stressful. Although it’s a great time to catch up with family and loved ones, sometimes the conversation can take a contentious turn, especially when the topic turns to politics. Here are some things you can do to ease the stress of any dinner table conversations that turn into arguments:
1. Take a nap By the time you wake up, it will either be time to eat or leave. Either way, you’ll be much happier. |
2. Water the plants Unlike relatives who argue with you, your plants will never disappoint you. |
3. Do some yoga
While your cousin-in-law’s thoughts on the January 6th Committee may create tension that builds up in your body, you can let it all out with some relaxing yoga. Ahhhhh, feels much better right? |
4. Reorganize a closet Just like talking politics with your uncle, it may be excruciating. But hear us out, at least you’ll be able to find your coat more quickly. |
5. Donate to the Democratic Party of New Mexico
It can be tough for dedicated Democrats like you to stay out of political discussions which inevitably turn into arguments. But if someone tries to argue with you about politics this holiday season, you can just smile and tell them that you just donated to the NM Democrats and that you’ll work extra hard in 2023 to keep New Mexico blue. Rest assured that you'll make a real difference! |
