Dear John xxxxxx,
We wanted to wish you a happy holiday season… but we were so full of holiday cheer that we wrote you a poem instead:
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, you may recall,
Was the meanest and nastiest critter of all.
He stole Christmas from Whoville, that much is true,
But he's got nothing on Trump, oh, let me tell you!
Trump tried to steal the election, right after he lost,
He told his supporters to fight, no matter the cost.
January 6 was a horrible scene,
But soon thereafter a committee convened.
To bring justice to Donald and his MAGA mob,
They called on the great Bennie Thompson to finish the job.
Now Trump could face jail, and it has been said,
That he’s so angry, his orange face has turned red!
But our job is not finished, in fact it’s even more crucial now,
That’s why we at Blue South are making a vow.
To help Democrats win in all Southern states,
To protect our democracy, whatever it takes.
So stand up to grinches, whether orange or green,
By helping us here to assemble our team.
To fight for what’s right for me and for you,
And to win, win, win, until we turn the South blue!
