The holiday season is a time to take joy in our shared humanity, to show appreciation for the people in our lives, and to reflect upon what is most important to us.

This was a year of both progress and upheaval — at home and abroad — and the spirit of this season strongly resonates as we reflect on all the ways that we have come together to help one another during these unique times. Our mutual generosity, determination, and resilience are proof of just how strong we remain when we come together.

I continue to be inspired by all of you who have worked to help those in need, fought for your values, and found big and small ways to bring love and laughs to those in your lives. You are why I have hope for the year ahead.
