It’s been almost a week since Mueller faced the House Judiciary Committee and confirmed that his report did not exonerate the president.
His testimony reiterated what we learned from his investigation: that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election on Trump’s behalf, that Trump knew about it, that he and his campaign failed to report these contacts to the FBI, and that Trump orchestrated a massive cover-up to avoid responsibility for his crimes.
No one is above the law, including the president. So I’m doing everything I can to continue conducting oversight of the president, including participating in the Judiciary Committee’s investigation into whether to bring articles of impeachment against the president.
But PA-05 isn’t a safe seat in 2020. A pro-Trump super PAC is preparing to spend $250 million in districts like mine to help the president’s re-election campaign. And, since my district is one of their top targets, dark money will not just support Trump -- it also puts this seat in jeopardy.
We can’t lose PA-05 if we are going to keep fighting to hold the president accountable for jeopardizing our elections and covering it up. So I need your help. Tomorrow is our team’s end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we’re still $3,208 short.
