I want to wish you and your family a very blessed holiday season. I’m grateful to have you by my side as we turn the page to a new year.

Let this season be a time to reflect, celebrate, and give thanks. I’m particularly grateful this year for the many organizations in Philadelphia and around the country that work year-round to care for our communities.

Places like Philabundance and MANNA work daily to break the cycle of poverty and end hunger for good. Philly’s own Project HOME has worked to end chronic street homelessness and alleviate poverty for decades. And Rebuilding Together Philadelphia revitalizes communities by transforming vulnerable, owner-occupied houses into safe, healthy, and energy-efficient homes.

There are a million ways to give back, so find the time this season to show your community love. When we work together with open arms and warm hearts, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

I hope you’ll join me in this holiday spirit and carry it into the new year as we continue working to rebuild our nation.
