From my family to yours, I want to wish you a very merry Christmas. After a hard-fought election this year, I feel extra blessed this holiday season to be coming home to Knoxville and spending time with my favorite people in the whole wide world, Kelly and Isabel. Per our family’s long-held tradition, we will be watching It’s a Wonderful Life on the big screen. And while this classic doesn’t have all the special effects of today’s movies, its message is exactly the reminder we need every year. It’s a story about one man’s ability to touch so many people and make a difference—even if he doesn’t realize it. It’s a reminder to count our blessings and remember that success comes in lots of different forms. It’s a testament to friendship, family, and sacrifice. I’m sure you have a busy weekend ahead of you filled with family, good friends, and of course, good food, but I want to take a moment to say thank you for all of your support. I wish you a blessed Christmas. |
