A special time

Dear John,

Christmas is such a special time of year - it is the time we celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Over two thousand years ago, three wise men saw a star in the sky that led their way.

Matthew 2:10-11 NKJV
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Let us always remember the true meaning of Christmas.

And while celebrating this joyous time of year with our loved ones, please pray for our country, our brave military men and women who are away from home this Christmas and please pray for our first responders.
