Census released their 2022 population estimates yesterday and the low-tax, pro-freedom red states continue to boom while New York, California, and Illinois shrink.

Four of the six richest counties in the United States in 2021—when measured by median household income--were located in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., according to newly released data from the Census Bureau’s Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates.
Loudoun County, Va., with a median household income of $153,716, ranked as the nation’s richest county in 2021.
Falls Church City, Va., which the Census Bureau counts as a county because it is an independent city, ranked second with a median household income of $142,430.
Santa Clara County, Calif., which is at the heart of Silicon Valley, ranked third with a median household income of $141,161.
Los Alamos County, New Mexico, which is home to the federal government’s Los Alamos National Laboratory, ranked fourth with a median household income of $134,050.
Fairfax County, Va., ranked fifth with a median household income of $133,845.
Howard County, Md., ranked sixth with a median household income of $ 131,412.
With Arlington County coming in as the tenth richest county, the D.C. suburbs had 5 of the 10 richest counties in the country.
This is a fairly obvious point to readers of the Hotline and should have been obvious to Congress. The best way to help the freedom fighters of Ukraine is not to have the thoroughly incompetent U.S. government send tens of billions of taxpayer dollars through incompetent NGOs - when they can’t account for what happened to the last $10 billion tranche of taxpayer money.
Instead, Republicans should insist on a drill baby drill energy strategy. As we showed earlier this year, if the Biden administration had simply stuck with the Trump energy dominance strategy, we would be producing nearly $200 billion more oil and natural gas. We could be exporting the gas to Europe. And we could decapitate the Russian economy, which produces NOTHING but Nat gas. Biden played right into the hands of Putin with his war on American energy and reversing that is the best way to ground to a halt the Russian war machine.
Let’s not forget that if Trump were still president, Putin would have never invaded Ukraine in the first place.
