The Select Committee on the January 6^th Attack has released its final
report. While some of the testimony, accounts, and information were
previously shared with the public during the aired meetings, much more
painstaking work went into crafting this report.
Hardworking people, those dedicated to preserving our democracy, made this
845-page report to carefully document and explain the actions of the
former President of the United States.
Yet, there are still lawmakers, commentators, and influential leaders that
claim allegiance, not to facts, data, or correct information, but to one
man. These individuals would rather save their own image and identity
within a party than face one of the greatest threats to Democracy we have
ever experienced.

“The President declined to make the statement.”
“Trump refused to do what was necessary.”
This is the legacy of the Trump administration. This is the legacy of the
45^th President of the United States – a man who oversaw a riot at our
Capitol, attempts to harm or kill lawmakers, and encouraged his supporters
to do all of it.
As a nation, we should be able to firmly and soundly reject this.
We should be able to make sure this never happens again.
But instead, we face opposition from an illegitimate faction of the
Republican party that will break its oath to the American people for the
praises of just one man.
John, this is why our work is so critical. Even if Trump spends
the rest of his days in prison, Trumpism and the MAGA cult will still
exist and leave our system forever changed. We have to continue to fight –
