As a mom of three young children, making sure mothers and infants can access quality health care hits close to home.
In 2015, I co-founded the bipartisan Maternity Care Congressional Caucus to get results. Our goal? To save lives and get better health for mothers and babies.
Since then, I’ve fought for numerous bills that reduce maternal mortality, make medications safer for pregnant women and new moms, strengthen support for moms living in rural areas, and others.
I want to keep fighting for policy for mothers and families in Congress, but I can’t continue my effort without the help of grassroots supporters like you.
We have an opportunity before us to promote maternal health for moms in the U.S. and -- with your support -- I intend to seize that opportunity for the residents of Southwest Washington and our country.
