First of all, I want to thank you for opening this email. I know this is such a busy time of the year, so I’m truly grateful for your time — promise I won’t take up too much of it!

I’m reaching out today because my campaign just let me know that our fundraising has been slower than usual these last few weeks. You know, this isn’t too surprising — it’s normal for a campaign to see a slowdown in fundraising during the holiday season, and especially after an important election. But it’s important that we get back on track before we report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission at the end of the month and our numbers become public for all to see.

We need to prove to everyone watching that our campaign is fired up and ready to reclaim the House majority in the next election and continue fighting for fairness, equality, and progress.
