Kevin McCarthy winning the Speaker’s gavel is still up in the air.

But one thing we know for sure is that Marjorie Taylor Greene will be the one actually holding the power that comes with the Speaker’s gavel.

A former Chair of the Republican Party even said this:

“Marjorie Taylor Greene will be the most powerful speaker of the House because she will have the opportunity to control what comes out of Kevin's mouth.”

It’s even been reported that Donald Trump himself is calling GOP members of the House to back Kevin McCarthy, in addition to Marjorie Taylor Greene whipping votes.

Just as a reminder of how dangerous MTG is, we’re talking about someone who:

● Has embraced QAnon conspiracy theories,
● Said Jewish people controlled space lasers that caused wildfires,
● Spoke at an event organized by an avowed white nationalist,
● And the list goes on…

With the MAGA Mob and Donald Trump pushing for Kevin McCarthy to become Speaker, we now know exactly who will be pulling McCarthy’s strings.
