Hi team, it's Laura Kelly, governor of the great state of Kansas and the new Vice Chair of the Democratic Governors Association.

Last month, this grassroots team helped power my campaign to victory against all the odds. Together, we overcame deep-pocketed megadonors, blatantly false attacks, and dangerous attempts to divide our communities.

Now I have four more years in the governor's office ahead – and I'm ready to deliver even more meaningful change for hardworking families.

I have my own priorities heading into the new year: improving public education, expanding health care, and lowering costs for families, to name just a few. But I didn't run for office to push my own personal agenda. I ran for office to serve families like yours, and I can't do that without knowing what matters most to you.

That's why I'm personally asking you to participate in my new priorities survey. As the DGA’s new Vice Chair, I need to hear from key grassroots supporters like you – so I'm really counting on your input. I even asked the team to create a personal survey link so top supporters could submit their feedback easily. Here's yours team:

I'm no stranger to tough fights, team. I won in 2018 the same way that I won in 2022: by listening and delivering for hardworking families.

So now, as I head into my second term – and as we prepare for even more governors' races in 2023 – I'm taking time to once again listen to the people who helped power this campaign to victory. Team, you had my back time and time again this year, so it'd mean so much to hear from you.
