5 reasons to support Farm Sanctuary. From top left, the image includes photos of Missy pig, Hayes steer, Serena turkey, Kathrine Helmond hen, and Dolly sheep.
We know that the end of the year is a busy time, so I wanted to reach out to you today and share five quick but important reasons why you should consider joining Farm Sanctuary this giving season:
* Missy: a pig purchased for breeding and kept in confinement before coming to live at Farm Sanctuary. Today, she's affectionate, friendly, and just as fond of belly rubs as she is exploring the grounds with her best friend, Pickles.
* Hayes: A Red Holstein steer rejected by the dairy industry and sold for meat production. He now lives in a herd with other rescued friends, like Pietro and Norman steers.
* Serena: a turkey who had part of her beak and toes removed while being raised for meat. Despite everything, she is friendly and affectionate with staff and visitors.
* Kathrine Helmond: a hen rescued from starvation, neglect, and slaughter. Now, she enjoys exploring with her flock.
* Dolly: a sheep rehomed by her guardian last year. She arrived with six other sheep; some were previously rescued from slaughter, while others were born from those survivors. Today, with your love and support, she is enjoying the peace and freedom of living with her flock.
* Exclusive member benefits. When you join Farm Sanctuary, you'll also receive exclusive opportunities to help farm animals and updates on our urgent animal rescues. You'll also receive Sanctuary, our print member magazine full of the heartwarming stories that you help to make possible - as well as early access to book cabin and tiny house accommodations at our New York shelter.

These are just a few reasons why your participation in our Year-End Match Challenge means so much to farm animals. With the help of kindhearted people like you, we have rescued thousands of farm animals from horrific abuse and neglect - and are building a more just and compassionate world where all farm animals are valued for who they are, not what they can produce.
As we prepare to enter a new year of challenges and opportunities, we're counting on your continued partnership to transform our oppressive food system and help the countless farm animals still suffering across the country.
Please, help Farm Sanctuary end the year strong and hit the ground running in 2023 by making a special gift today. Your gift will be automatically MATCHED to have twice the impact on all of our lifesaving work.
