JERRY NEWCOMBE — Two years ago, a doctoral student in “religious studies” at a major public university in California was asked what he would do if he had a time machine. He answered that he would “assassinate Jesus of Nazareth.” Somehow, in his thinking, the world would be better off without Jesus and the movement He has spawned. What if Jesus had never been born? Dr. D. James Kennedy and I asked that question back in 1994 when we co-authored the book by that title.... (more)

LIFE SITE NEWS — The Church is in a total uproar. One of the things that might help to explain that is infiltration: infiltration of the Church by Communists who were actually sent to be priests to infiltrate the Church on purpose. Sound incredible? Well, it’s not. Because you know what? It was testified to by an ex-Communist. Her name was Bella Dodd. She was known to Bishop Fulton J. Sheen and lots of other witnesses. We’re going to talk to Dr. Paul Kengor, the author of a new book on Bella Dodd, and discuss what this all means for the Church today. This is The John-Henry Westen Show.... (more)

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON — In a famous exchange in the The Sun Also Rises, Ernest Hemingway wrote: “How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked. “Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually, then suddenly.” “Gradually” and “suddenly” applies to higher education’s implosion. During the 1990s “culture wars” universities were warned that their chronic tuition hikes above the rate of inflation were unsustainable.... (more)

Pavone dismissed from priesthood for outspoken pro-life ministry
FOX NEWS — Outspoken pro-life Roman Catholic priest Frank Pavone, who was removed from the priesthood by the Vatican this fall, provided an update on his defrocking, arguing he has known for years that there was pressure to "cancel" him over his outspoken work for the pro-life movement. "We've known for 20 years that there are bishops in the Church that hate our work. They're uncomfortable when I put so much priority on abortion," Pavone said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network on Monday.... (more)

'These are not normal times'
BOB UNRUH — A lawsuit that actually could challenge American election results, and possibly overturn them, is heading for a conference in the U.S. Supreme Court in just weeks. The case does not allege the 2020 election was stolen. Instead, it alleges "that a large majority of Congress, by failing to investigate such serious allegations of election rigging and breaches of national security, violated their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic," according to a report in the Gateway Pundit.... TENNESSE STANDS — I was a little shocked to find out about the case, Brunson v. Alma S. Adams; et al., and then find out that it may legitimately be headed to the US Supreme Court. The lawsuit has to do with the 2020 elections and the question of whether or not members of Congress had a duty to investigate any potential voter fraud. But the more central question this lawsuit asks is, do citizens have a right to expect that elected officials uphold their oaths of office and should elected officials be held accountable when and if it is found that they have not?... Brunson v. Adams is set for consideration Jan. 6, 2023
HIGHLAND COUNTY PRESS — While there has been much public attention on the U.S. Supreme Court’s present consideration of the “independent state legislature” theory in Moore v. Harper involving North Carolina’s redistricting, that case would not immediately upend the 2020 presidential election. In contrast, a little-known case that appeared recently on the Court docket could do just that. The case of Brunson v. Adams, not even reported in the mainstream media, was filed pro se by ordinary American citizens – four brothers from Utah – seeking the removal of President Biden and Vice President Harris, along with 291 U.S. representatives and 94 U.S. senators who voted to certify the electors to the Electoral College on Jan. 6, 2021, without first investigating serious allegations of election fraud in half a dozen states and foreign election interference and breach of national security in the 2020 presidential election. The outcome of such relief would presumably be to restore Donald Trump to the presidency.... (more)

YOUTUBE — Gilbert Howe: Growing up watching the Smothers Brother’s Comedy Hour on CBS was always fun with my father. He loved the Smothers and had all their LP’s (vinyl albums). So when the opportunity came to produce their Salt Lake Concert, I grabbed the chance. All the years working with Alan Osmond certainly paid off in being able to put this fun-filled comedy show together. When I shared I was going to be working with the Smothers Brothers, my dad was so thrilled. I still have a copy of their contract for doing this show. The concert was in 98, if I remember correctly, and you will hear a little bit of their political spin if you listen closely. This is just a short clip from the show. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did producing this concert.... (more)

JERRY NEWCOMBE — The first Christmas was really quite humble. Perhaps that is why Christmas resonates in the hearts of many, even many non-religious people…because of its utter humility. Of course, we Christians believe God became a man in Jesus Christ. But when He came, He didn’t come in pomp and circumstance, living in an ivory palace. He came in a humble and lowly way.... (more)

NEWSMAX — Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Joe Biden's outgoing chief medical adviser, pushed back Wednesday against Florida GOP Gov. "We have a vaccine that unequivocally is highly effective and safe and has saved literally millions of lives," Fauci told CNN. "The Commonwealth Fund has come out with a report this past week that vaccinations have saved 3.2 million lives, 18 million hospitalizations, and approximately $1 trillion in costs. So what's the problem with vaccines?"... (more)

How the ‘official’ Covid narrative goes unchallenged on Wikipedia
PROF. NORMAN FENTON, QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON — How the "official" Covid narrative goes unchallenged on Wikipedia If you look at the Wikipedia entries of any senior scientist, clinician or "influencer" who has talked positively about early Covid treatments or who has raised legitimate concerns about the vaccine efficacy or safety, you will discover that they have been delegitimized and labelled as promoters of "misinformation." Their entries have also been heavily edited to downplay their credentials and research record. In many cases there are blatant lies and critical omissions made to frame these people as untrustworthy oddballs.... (more)

‘A new level of stupidity’
ART MOORE — If you decided to forgo an experimental vaccine that does not prevent contracting a disease with a survival rate of nearly 100% while posing the risk of severe harm or death, you fit the profile of a person who is much more likely to get into a car crash. That's according to a study reported by Fortune that was published in December in The American Journal of Medicine. Canadian researchers concluded that people who didn't receive the COVID-19 vaccine were 72% more likely to be involved in a severe traffic crash – meaning at least one person was transported to the hospital – than those who were vaccinated....
